According to BlockBeats, the 212th Ethereum Execution Layer Core Developers Meeting (ACDE) focused on several key topics. The meeting highlighted the upcoming launch of Fusaka Devnet-0, scheduled for May 26. Discussions also covered the scope of Fusaka EIPs, including EIP-7825, which proposes setting the transaction gas limit to 30 million, and EIP-7918, which aims to anchor blob fee rates to the base fee to mitigate fee volatility. Both proposals are confirmed for inclusion in Devnet-1, with other candidate EIPs expected in Devnet-2.
The developers also addressed testnet strategies, deciding to first fork Sepolia while retaining Hoodi for application testing. The community is encouraged to maintain long-term testnets.
