According to Odaily, Ethereum Rollup deployment platform Caldera has issued a warning about fraudulent activities involving fake tokens on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The company alerted users through a post on X, cautioning against the creation and promotion of counterfeit Caldera tokens. Caldera emphasized that no official tokens have been launched yet and advised users to refrain from purchasing or interacting with these fraudulent tokens.
In July, Caldera successfully raised $15 million in a Series A funding round led by Founders Fund, with participation from Dragonfly, Sequoia Capital, Arkstream Capital, and Lattice. This recent funding brings the company's total financing to $25 million, following a previous $10 million funding round completed last year. The company continues to focus on expanding its platform and ensuring the security and integrity of its operations amid the growing interest and investment in blockchain technologies.#Caldera #FraudulentTokens #BinanceSmartChain #BSC #CryptoSecurity #Blockchain #CounterfeitTokens #FundingRound

According to Foresight News, Flow announced that its community governance committee has successfully recovered counterfeit FLOW tokens from centralized exchanges. These tokens are now isolated on the blockchain with restricted storage, awaiting destruction. The permanent destruction of the counterfeit tokens is scheduled for January 30, 2026. Additionally, the foundation has arranged to revoke the extra access permissions granted to the community governance committee for recovery operations today.
Previously, Foresight News reported that Flow released a review of the attack incident, revealing that attackers exploited a vulnerability in the Flow network to forge tokens, resulting in the theft of approximately $3.9 million through cross-chain transactions. The attack did not access or compromise any existing user balances. While the attack replicated assets, it did not affect legitimately held assets, and the majority of counterfeit assets were stored on-chain or frozen by exchange partners before liquidation.#Flow #counterfeittokens #securitybreach #communitygovernance #blockchain #tokenrecovery #destruction #cyberattack #crosschain #cryptosecurity #ForesightNews #FLOW
