According to Odaily, Compass Mining has activated 3,000 Bitcoin mining machines at its newly partnered hosting facility in Iowa. The company plans to install an additional 1,000 machines by the end of September, increasing the facility's capacity by 12.5 megawatts (MW). This expansion is part of Compass Mining's broader strategy to grow its operations. By the end of 2024, the company aims to manage approximately 30 MW of power across various locations in the United States, including Indiana, Ohio, Nebraska, and Texas.
