🚀 Larry Ellison And Elon Musk Request More Nvidia GPUs

According to Odaily, during a recent analyst meeting, Oracle co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison revealed that he and Elon Musk had dinner with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang at Nobu Palo Alto, where they requested more GPUs from Huang. Ellison described the dinner as a plea for more GPUs, stating, 'I can describe that dinner as Elon and I begging Jensen for GPUs. Please take our money, and by the way, I have dinner ready. No, take a little more. We need you to take more of our money.' Ellison noted that the outcome was positive, saying, 'Everything went smoothly. I mean, it worked.' Oracle has heavily invested in GPU technology, particularly for AI applications. The tech giant recently reported its first-quarter results for fiscal year 2025, showing a 7% year-over-year revenue increase to $13.3 billion, with profits reaching $2.9 billion. Oracle also disclosed that it operates or is building 162 cloud data centers worldwide, with the largest being an 800-megawatt facility that will house 'acres of Nvidia GPU clusters' for training large-scale AI models. In the first quarter, Oracle signed 42 cloud GPU contracts totaling $3 billion. Similarly, Tesla relies on Nvidia GPUs to power its supercomputers, which train neural networks for its autonomous and assisted driving technologies.

🚀 U.S. Advances AI Integration in Scientific Research

According to BlockBeats, the U.S. White House is aiming to enhance the country's scientific research capabilities through artificial intelligence. U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday to initiate the 'Genesis Mission' plan, directing the Department of Energy and other research institutions to actively advance AI deployment. Michael Kratsios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, described the initiative as the largest integration of federal research resources since the Apollo program.

The plan is expected to accelerate breakthroughs in fields such as medicine, energy production, and engineering. Energy Secretary Wright emphasized the use of AI to analyze extensive datasets from the 17 national laboratories under his department, promising a significant increase in the speed of scientific discovery and innovation. The executive order mandates that agencies make datasets more compatible with AI tools like neural networks, and that government-held research data and federal computing infrastructure be accessible to university researchers, private enterprises, and national security professionals.

🚀 AI TRENDS | Zhejiang University Research Enhances AI Learning with Human Brain Signals

A research team from Zhejiang University has introduced a novel approach to training deep neural networks using human brain signals. According to NS3.AI, this method has demonstrated an average improvement of 20.5% in few-shot learning and abstract concept recognition in new contexts. The study also revealed that while larger models enhance accuracy in concrete concepts, they tend to decrease accuracy in abstract concepts.
