According to Cointelegraph, The Open Network (TON), a blockchain project associated with Telegram, has introduced TON Factory, a platform aimed at boosting the development and scalability of high-throughput applications such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and blockchain-based games. Announced on April 30 via Telegram, TON Factory is designed to assist developers in rapidly building and scaling projects by providing modular components, integration tools, and expert support. The initiative is supported by a team of over 150 engineers experienced in delivering production-ready infrastructure within the TON ecosystem.
The platform's architecture is powered by Broxusβ Tycho protocol, which integrates the TON Virtual Machine (TVM) with a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) consensus mechanism. This hybrid design aims to achieve near-instant finality and high throughput, reportedly capable of handling up to 35,000 transactions per second (TPS). Such capabilities could position TON Factory as a formidable competitor to other layer-1 and layer-2 scaling solutions. Additionally, TON Factory supports custom TVM chain deployments and offers tailored scaling solutions, enabling ambitious teams to advance the ecosystem.
As of now, Toncoin, the native cryptocurrency of The Open Network, is trading at $3.22, reflecting a decrease of approximately 1% over the past 24 hours, based on data from CoinMarketCap. In March 2025, the TON Foundation announced that several venture capital firms had invested over $400 million in the TON blockchain, indicating a growing interest in the Telegram messaging ecosystem.#TONFactory #Blockchain #Scalability #DecentralizedExchanges #BlockchainGames #Developers #HighThroughput #TychoProtocol #TONVirtualMachine #TransactionsPerSecond #Toncoin #Investments #Telegram
π Ethereum Nears Solution to Blockchain Trilemma with Key Upgrades

According to Odaily, Vitalik Buterin has announced that Ethereum is close to addressing the longstanding 'blockchain trilemma' at the operational level. He highlighted two critical upgrades, PeerDAS and ZK-EVM, which are transforming Ethereum into a 'new, more powerful decentralized network.' PeerDAS was launched on the mainnet in 2025, while ZK-EVM, still undergoing security enhancements, has reached production-level performance and is expected to be used on a small scale in the network by 2026.
Buterin outlined plans for Ethereum to achieve a balance between decentralization, security, and high throughput in the coming years by increasing the gas limit, adjusting state structures, and introducing more ZK-EVM-based verification methods. He emphasized that this is not merely theoretical but is based on long-term engineering results from already running code. He also reflected on Ethereum's nearly decade-long effort to address data availability and scalability issues, noting that this vision is gradually becoming a reality.#Ethereum #BlockchainTrilemma #VitalikButerin #PeerDAS #ZKEVM #Decentralization #Security #HighThroughput #GasLimit #Scalability #DataAvailability #CryptoUpgrade #BlockchainInnovation #ETH

MegaETH, an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling project, has initiated a global stress test designed to process all historical transactions within a week. According to NS3.AI, the network has achieved a real-time transaction processing speed exceeding 16,000 transactions per second (TPS), with transfer fees as low as $0.0002 per token transfer. This test underscores MegaETH's ability to facilitate scalable decentralized applications, offering high throughput and minimal costs.#MegaETH #Ethereum #Layer2 #scaling #stresstest #transactionprocessing #TPS #decentralizedapplications #highthroughput #lowfees #blockchain #ETH
