According to Foresight News, the Ethereum Foundation has announced the Fusaka network upgrade, set to activate on the Ethereum mainnet at slot 13,164,544. The upgrade is expected to occur on December 4, 2025, at 5:49:11 UTC+8. This update introduces the Blob Parameter Only (BPO) fork, designed to safely expand blob throughput following the activation of PeerDAS.
Fusaka's primary feature, PeerDAS (Peer Data Availability Sampling), is anticipated to significantly enhance blob throughput.
