🚀 🔥 CZ Shares Path to Success: Balancing Education, Part-Time Work, and Transition into Business Development 🔥

CZ shared in a recent episode of the All-In Podcast that one of his first jobs was working at McDonald's around the age of 14. He said the minimum wage in British Columbia, Canada, at that time was 6 Canadian dollars per hour, but McDonald's paid only 5.5 Canadian dollars per hour due to a special exemption clause. He started learning programming in high school. When choosing a university, he hesitated between the University of Waterloo and McGill University, and was influenced by a friend's mother to choose McGill to study biology. However, he switched to computer science after one semester. He avoided student loans by working part-time during summer vacations and the school year. He received some small support from his father and sister early on but later became completely self-sufficient. After his twenties, he transitioned into business development.

🚀 🔥 CZ Advises Builders Should Focus on Long-Term Growth, Not Daily Price Moves, Amid Crypto Market Weakness 🔥

Key TakeawaysCZ says daily price movements should not distract builders during market downturnsHe emphasizes long-term growth and development over short-term token performanceProjects with tokens should focus on regular updates and community communicationAmid ongoing weakness in the crypto market, Changpeng Zhao has urged industry participants to shift their focus away from short-term price fluctuations and toward long-term building and progress.Speaking during a recent AMA, CZ said that daily market movements are largely irrelevant for builders, stressing that the crypto market has historically moved forward over time despite periods of volatility.“You should ignore the daily market,” CZ said, adding that from a builder’s perspective, he does not worry about short-term token prices.Focus on Building, Not Price VolatilityCZ explained that builders should concentrate on developing products, infrastructure, and ecosystems rather than reacting to short-term market sentiment. According to him, long-term value creation matters more than temporary price action, particularly during bearish or uncertain market conditions. He noted that markets naturally experience cycles, but over time, innovation and development continue to push the industry forward.Communication Remains Key for Token ProjectsIn addition to long-term focus, CZ highlighted the importance of transparency and communication. He said that projects which have already issued tokens have a responsibility to keep their communities informed.According to CZ, regular updates help maintain trust and engagement, even during periods of market weakness. Clear communication, he added, is especially important when prices are under pressure and sentiment is negative.Long-Term Outlook Remains IntactCZ’s comments reflect a broader message often shared during market downturns: short-term volatility should not overshadow long-term fundamentals. For builders, he emphasized, progress is measured in development milestones and adoption — not daily price charts.

🚀 CZ Says Motivation Goes Beyond Money, Citing Long-Term Contribution and Meaningful Work

Key TakeawaysCZ says personal wealth is not his primary motivation for continuing to workHe distinguishes Binance’s assets from his personal net worthCZ emphasizes contribution, community, and long-term societal impact as key driversResponding to a question from Binance users about why he continues working despite having achieved financial success, Changpeng Zhao said his motivation is not centered on money, but on long-term contribution and purpose.During a recent AMA, CZ clarified that Binance’s assets should not be conflated with his personal net worth, noting that while he is financially comfortable, wealth is not what drives his decisions.“I’m comfortable in life, but don’t confuse Binance’s assets with my net worth,” CZ said.Contribution Over Financial IncentivesCZ explained that his continued involvement in work and projects is rooted in what he described as “selfish reasons,” referring to the intrinsic reward of contributing to the future, society, and broader communities.According to him, meaningful contribution — to family, community, and long-term societal progress — is a core personal value. He added that his goal is to leave the world better than it was when he entered it, describing this sense of purpose as deeply fulfilling.Finding Meaning Beyond BusinessCZ said he values simple pleasures in life and considers himself fortunate, noting that having sufficient resources allows him to make a positive impact. He also emphasized that age remains a factor in his willingness to stay active.“I’m not too old yet, so I can still contribute,” he said.He added that Binance continues to perform well without his direct involvement, which gives him greater freedom to pursue other meaningful initiatives outside the company.Balance Between Life and PurposeWhile acknowledging interests such as snowboarding, CZ noted that leisure alone is not fulfilling on a daily basis. He said he still feels the need to engage in meaningful work and projects that create long-term value.

🚀 CZ: Crypto Has Never Needed a Bailout — and Never Will, Amid U.S. Political Pushback

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said on February 20 that the cryptocurrency industry has never required a bailout and will never need one, pushing back against growing political scrutiny in the United States over the idea of taxpayer support for digital asset markets.CZ’s remarks came a day after Elizabeth Warren, a senior member of the Senate Banking Committee, urged U.S. authorities to explicitly rule out any government bailout of the crypto industry.Warren Warns Against Taxpayer-Funded Crypto BailoutsIn a letter sent on February 19 to U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Basset and Jerome Powell, Warren warned that using public funds to support crypto markets would amount to “transferring wealth from American taxpayers to cryptocurrency billionaires.”She argued that such a move would be:Politically unpopular,A misuse of taxpayer money, andPotentially beneficial to President Donald Trump and his family’s crypto-related venture, World Liberty Financial.Warren has long positioned herself as one of Washington’s most vocal critics of the crypto industry, frequently highlighting risks tied to investor protection, financial stability, and perceived regulatory gaps.CZ: Crypto Is Built Without BailoutsResponding to the broader narrative, CZ emphasized a core distinction between crypto and traditional finance: crypto markets have historically absorbed losses without public rescues.“Cryptocurrency has never needed a bailout and will never need one,” CZ said, reinforcing the view held by many in the industry that digital assets operate under a market-driven model where failures are resolved through liquidations, restructuring, or exit — not taxpayer intervention.

🚀 CZ: CEXs Have Zero Reason for Involvement with Terrorists

Binance founder and former CEO, Changpeng Zhao (CZ) posted on X in response to a federal judge's recent dismissal of a civil lawsuit that sought to hold Binance and founder and CZ liable for transactions that allegedly helped terrorist groups conduct attacks. CZ stated in his post that terrorist groups would be unlikely to generate revenue for exchanges because they typically do not engage in active trading, which is where exchanges earn fees. At most, they might deposit funds and immediately withdraw them, and these are transactions that produce little or no income for the platform.

🚀 Google’s Quantum Whitepaper Reignites Crypto Security Debate, Drawing Responses From CZ and Elon Musk

Google’s latest research has revived debate over crypto security, suggesting quantum computers may need far fewer resources than previously thought to break the cryptography used by blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The study estimates that fewer than 500,000 physical qubits could crack the 256-bit elliptic curve cryptography widely used across the industry — a 20-fold drop from earlier estimates. The paper also describes a theoretical scenario in which a sufficiently advanced quantum computer could derive a Bitcoin private key in as little as nine minutes, creating the possibility of an “on-spend attack” in which an attacker exploits a public key exposed during a transaction and potentially steals funds within Bitcoin’s roughly 10-minute block window.Responding to the news, Binance co-founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) said there is “no need to panic,” arguing that crypto networks can ultimately upgrade to quantum-resistant algorithms. Still, he cautioned that implementation will be difficult in decentralized systems, with debates over standards, possible forks, wallet migrations for self-custody users, and the risk of new bugs during upgrades.CZ also raised the question of dormant coins, including Satoshi Nakamoto’s holdings, suggesting the industry may eventually need to consider how to keep such addresses from becoming targets for future attackers. His broader view remained optimistic: crypto, he said, will endure in a post-quantum world.Elon Musk offered a lighter take, joking: “On the plus side, if you forgot the password to your wallet, it will be accessible in the future.”
