🚀 South African Bitcoin Ponzi Scheme Leader Detained Over Unanswered Questions

According to Foresight News, Clynton Marks, the mastermind behind the South African Bitcoin Ponzi scheme MTI, has been detained. The detention stems from his inability to adequately answer questions from liquidators regarding the withdrawal of Bitcoin from his MTI account. Marks stated, "I am trying my best to answer all questions. Unfortunately, my memory is not good enough to recall all these different transactions, and it seems I cannot communicate with the people who operated the account for me." Previously, Marks had delegated the investment and withdrawal responsibilities to two partners, Don Nkomo and Andrew Caw. In 2022, Marks, along with Steynberg and others, was ordered to repay $291 million.
