🚀 Solv Adopts Chainlink CCIP for Largest Cross-Chain Bitcoin Staking Solution

According to Foresight News, Bitcoin staking platform Solv has integrated Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to launch the industry's largest cross-chain Bitcoin staking solution. This new solution supports SolvBTC and its Liquid Staking Tokens (LST) assets, including SolvBTC.BBN and SolvBTC.ENA, enabling cross-chain interoperability across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, and Avalanche. The platform plans to expand to additional networks in the future.

Currently, the total amount of SolvBTC and its LST products exceeds 20,000 Bitcoins, with over 10,000 Bitcoin assets achieving cross-chain functionality through Solv. This development marks a significant milestone in the evolution of cross-chain Bitcoin staking, providing users with enhanced flexibility and broader network support.

🚀 Solv Protocol Introduces Staking Abstraction Layer For Bitcoin

According to PANews, Solv Protocol has announced the launch of its Staking Abstraction Layer (SAL) on the X platform. This new initiative aims to standardize and enhance the interoperability of Bitcoin staking by abstracting the technical differences and operational methods of various staking processes. The goal is to create a scalable Bitcoin staking solution. Initial partners for the SAL launch include BNB Chain, Chainlink, and Ceffu.

🚀 Bitcoin Collateralization Expands with Babylon and Aave Partnership

According to PANews, Bitcoin staking project Babylon has partnered with decentralized lending protocol Aave to enable Bitcoin to be used directly as collateral without the need for packaging or centralized custody. Beyond lending services, Babylon plans to extend its vault design into the DeFi insurance sector, allowing Bitcoin to serve as insurance collateral against protocol hacks. If no claims occur, the Bitcoin deposited in the insurance pool will generate returns; however, in the event of a hack, these Bitcoins will provide liquidity for claims.

Babylon is collaborating with Aave to integrate its Trustless Vaults with Aave's hub-and-spoke architecture. Babylon will create a Bitcoin-backed branch within Aave's lending hub, allowing users to deposit Bitcoin on its base chain while borrowing stablecoins and other assets in Aave's market. Testing is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with the product expected to launch around April.
