TikTok has announced the formation of TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC, a company dedicated to safeguarding data, algorithm security, content review, and software protection for TikTok in the United States. According to PANews, the joint venture includes stakeholders such as General Atlantic, Silver Lake Capital, and MGX, each holding a 15% share. Additional investors include Vastmere Strategic Investment LLC, affiliated with Sequoia Capital, and Alpha Wave Partners. ByteDance retains a 19.9% stake, making it the largest single shareholder.
