First of all, this is simply my personal opinion and not financial advice.

It has been three days since Durov announced the proposal to rename TON to GRAM, and this feels like the right moment for me to share a broader perspective on the TON ecosystem.

The reality is that nobody knows where the bottom of the market is. Nobody. But if you ask me what I am doing right now, the answer is very simple: I am using this correction to accumulate more $TON.

The market has not been easy lately. Bitcoin has been under heavy selling pressure and honestly, I still do not understand why that old man decided to sell $BTC at this stage.

At the same time, FWC 2026 is approaching, negative headlines continue to dominate discussions, liquidity keeps flowing out of the market, and overall sentiment remains weak. Everywhere you look, people are becoming more cautious, more emotional, and less willing to take risk.

I do not want to spend this thread talking about technical analysis. What I want to say is much simpler. The best opportunities rarely appear when everyone feels comfortable.

They appear when timelines are filled with fear, when portfolios are bleeding, and when nobody wants to buy anymore. Those are often the moments when long term positions are built.

Since the renaming vote began, I have personally lost around 2,000 TON in unrealized profits. Several memes I was holding had already reached returns of 6x, 7x, and in some cases even higher.

Then, within a very short period of time, most of them experienced brutal drawdowns. Some positions even fell below my original entry. It was painful to watch, but that is simply part of this market.

Then came the GRAM narrative. Almost overnight, a wave of new projects emerged around the Gram brand. New communities formed, new stories were created, and capital started flowing toward anything connected to the narrative.

Fortunately, I reacted quickly enough to capitalize on the trend and managed to recover around 600 TON.

I am not here to tell you whether those projects were good or bad. What I can say is that they brought attention, liquidity, trading volume, and fresh participants back into the ecosystem.

During that period, $TON managed to reclaim the $2 level once again. More importantly, it reminded everyone of a lesson that never changes: markets always reward those who recognize a narrative before the majority notices it.

Today, most TON memes have already gone through a deep correction. Valuations are significantly lower than they were a few weeks ago, sentiment is weaker, and many people have already left.

Personally, I continue to accumulate what I consider some of the strongest names in the ecosystem: $UTYA, $REDO, and $YODA.

I will also leave a few low cap projects in the comments that I find interesting. Most of them are projects I have mentioned before, but after the recent correction they deserve another look.

Whether you decide to buy, hold, or simply observe, I believe this is one of those periods where patience, conviction, and proper positioning matter far more than emotion.

No matter what happens in the short term, my view remains unchanged. I still believe TON has a lot ahead of it.

Markets have a way of rewarding people who stay patient while others give up, and some of the biggest opportunities are often discovered during the most uncomfortable periods.

At one point, it went from a $10k market cap to over $200k in a single day. Then the very next day, the market experienced a major selloff. People took profits, panic selling followed, and the chart retraced heavily.

But the Communist Cat community is still here.

Grand Ton Ape before GTA VI

This is one of the projects that suffered the most after the vote to rename TON to GRAM. In just 1–2 hours, the market cap crashed from over $400K to around $50K.

Absolutely insane.

I, @favezy, and six other people have a private GTA team group. The team started cooking $GTA from a $3K market cap, while I joined later around the $25K–30K range. That was also the entry I shared publicly with everyone.

The GTA team works extremely hard. Everyone has their own responsibilities, and everyone does their job well. At the same time, the community continues to support the project in a very strong way.

The project has already received interactions from Telegram several times. Based on how smart and creative the team has been with their replies, I believe Telegram will continue interacting with $GTA in the future.

The Grand Ton Ape community is now approaching 600 members.

It is no longer just a meme coin.

It feels more like a small city within the TON ecosystem.

Grand Ton Ape could have easily changed its name to Gram Ton Ape to follow the new trend, but they didn't. They chose to keep the original name and wait for the next narrative instead.

Everything still seems to be going according to plan.

No matter what happens in the market, there are always people who stay, continue building, and keep pushing forward.

That is what truly matters.

You can slowly accumulate if what I'm writing aligns with your own view.

It seems that people are no longer as excited to ape into TON meme projects as they once were.

But I will continue writing about projects that I believe are putting in real effort and creating real value.

VOLYA - Durov Resistance Army is one of them.

Unlike memes inspired by the sticker packs of Egor Zhgun, a Moscow-based designer known for internet-native projects such as $UTYA, $YODA, and $VIRUS, tokens that were heavily pushed within the TON ecosystem, VOLYA is taking a different approach.

The project places Pavel Durov at the center of its narrative and is building an entire universe around his character. They didn't just create a well-crafted sticker pack.

They've also built a mini app, created comics where Durov is portrayed as a hero saving the world, produced AI videos, and will likely continue expanding the story in the future.

What caught my attention wasn't the price action, but the seriousness of the team when it comes to building a brand and telling a story.

It reminds me of a project on BSC that I followed closely. It went from roughly a $10k market cap to more than $10M simply by consistently creating educational content around Giggle Academy and earning interactions from CZ.

$VOLYA seems to be following a similar path: building, creating, and staying persistent.

With an extra touch of freedom, creativity, and the spirit that Durov himself seems to appreciate.

That's why I continue to follow the project and write about it.

I believe that when the market recovers, projects with strong communities, compelling stories, and real products will have a better chance of being recognized for their true value.
