Any user can "help" you improve your gift with their stars, but the stars may be "fake", meaning they can be refunded.
As a result: you will lose your gift.

Telegram did not provide cancel buttons for help with gift upgrades. You cannot refuse help with the upgrade.
Essentially, this is a critical bug.

The only solution at the moment is to hide unupgraded gifts from the profile and wait for a fix from the Telegram team✉️

A post from the official Notcoin Twitter account unexpectedly hit me hard and made me think about something simple:

why does this channel even exist?

I caught myself remembering how it all started.
That original idea.
The exact day I created this channel.

On a crude oil tanker, in my cabin after another watch.
Back when I had just started getting into crypto and was blown away by how interesting it all was.

I remember that rush of emotions and adrenaline from discovering something new.
That realization that my world isn’t limited to working at sea - that I can and want to move forward.

I don’t know if that was the exact message behind NOT’s post,
but it made me ask myself:

am I creating the right content now?

It’s hard to answer.
And honestly, it’s probably more no than yes.
I can’t say I completely abandoned the original idea.
But somewhere along the way… I definitely got lost.

Lost between news, trend algorithms, and trying to “fit audience demand”
i mean, like chasing narratives around Telegram gifts.

And that leads to the main question:
did I move away from the idea because I wanted to,
or because that’s how the audience responds?

Partly, I did lose some inspiration from what’s happening in TON.
The activity isn’t the same.
Fewer discussions.
That feeling of “life” has faded a bit.

But not completely.
I still believe the ecosystem can come back to life.
And maybe even become stronger than before.

Because I remember 2024.
The peak of TON. Its ATH.
Back then, the ecosystem was alive.
Chats were full of debates, and comments were exploding with opinions.

That was real.

TonNewbie was never meant to be “just another news channel”.

It was meant to be a place where:
🔵 newcomers get real guidance;
🔵people are warned about scams;
🔵noise like gambling, betting and “easy money schemes” is filtered out
A place with not just information,
but perspective.

Now the world has changed.
There’s too much content everywhere.
And the worst part - most of it is either copied or AI-generated.
Creators just don’t care enough anymore.

So after thinking about all this, here’s where I landed:
maybe the problem isn’t just the market
and not just the audience

maybe at some point, I started playing the wrong game
Honestly, I don’t fully know what to do with this yet.

The channel was created on January 9, 2022
and I’m still here - and I will remain its author.

Life hasn’t been the easiest lately,
and it’s not the best time for motivation or self-improvement.
But I give my word - to myself and to you - I’ll keep trying ;)

A platform for monetizing your own stickers. Literally anyone can launch a sticker pack, similar to how meme tokens are launched on memepads.

💎Each pack has a fixed supply of 1,000 units, with a starting price from 1 to 10 🤑 (the price changes as more of the supply is bought out).
Then it goes through a bonding curve, gets automatically minted, and appears on the secondary market on GetGems. After that, it lives on as an NFT 2.0 collection.

The creator receives 95% of the bonding curve revenue — but only after it’s fully completed, to prevent scams.

Notably:
✈️Pavel Durov mentioned this exact 95% revenue share for collection creators back in 2024 at TOKEN2049 in Dubai.
Nice to see that a third-party team (not Telegram) is sticking to the original vision.

Now let’s take a deeper look at this newly launched service:

👥I see three main groups that might be interested here:

🔵Large influencers — the ones who can drive attention;
🔵Artists — the ones who create;
🔵Scalpers — buy low, sell higher (leveraging the bonding curve mechanics).

The idea of monetizing stickers is actually very solid. Not sure why Pavel left it in a “nascent” state for so long and instead focused on Telegram Gifts (which have already lost their hype), as well as lifeless memepads with their meme tokens.

🦅We all remember well that meme tokens are basically a full-on casino - and that cycle has already played out. Even recent narratives from Durov (durikovich, mtonga, etc.) failed to reach even ~250k market cap. And that’s not really about low activity in TON right now. If you look at tokens trending on DexScreener, there are still buys worth thousands of dollars - but those “memes” have been around for years.

📦Essentially, Sticker Pad is a new step in evolution (I honestly can’t recall similar services before). Instead of meme tokens, we’re now creating and “playing” with sticker packs.
BUT - I strongly doubt the timing of this launch is ideal. Even weeks from now, this narrative tool might not gain traction unless activity returns to TON. Everything will depend on community interest and крупных influencers with established audiences.

Why do I emphasize big influencers so much? Because only they can kickstart this narrative - for example, by redistributing part of the bonding curve proceeds. I’m sure, that almost every user has a “favorite creator” who could launch a pack and get strong support from their audience.

That creates a win-win situation: the audience supports the creator, the community-driven sticker pack gains popularity and value - and then FOMO kicks in.

Sticker Pad - quick info breakdown:

🔵When a pack completes its bonding curve, it gets “graduation” status and becomes official. It then appears in @sticker_bot and on GetGems.
🔵Once the curve is closed, all packs you purchased are delivered to your wallet.
🔵Creators receive 95% of all funds raised.

What if a collection never graduates?

There are no time limits. The collection stays active until all packs are sold out.
If sales stall, users can sell packs back through the bonding curve and recover their funds.
If the collection violates rules, it can be removed and users are refunded.

Where do my funds go when I buy a pack?

All funds go into a smart contract. Nobody can access them — not the creator, not the platform.

Can the creator run away with the money?

No. The smart contract prevents any withdrawals before the bonding curve is fully closed.

What if the collection is a scam or breaks rules?

It can be removed from Sticker Pad, and all users are refunded.
What can get a pack rejected?
Violations of platform rules, including:
🔵Copyright/IP infringement
🔵Adult or illegal content
🔵Scams or impersonation of artists/brands
🔵Low-quality submissions
What happens if I get rejected?
Your pack won’t launch, but you can submit a new one.
Two rejections result in a ban from Sticker Pad.
