This helped us exel at expressing emotions through characters. We learned how to make emotions stand out using motion, shape, and color, even within a limited space. We believe that emotions are key when creating a character because that’s how we can show a brand’s spirit in the most native way.

Part #1 — Stella the Unicorn
In this post series, we want to tell you about our sticker packs that became legends in the blue messenger.
👏 It all started with this little star, Stella the Unicorn.
Our studio’s founder, Anastasia @kyplu_garazh, took part in Telegram’s official sticker pack contest.
Pavel Durov commented on this cute pink creature with just two words: “Единорог отлично”, which means "Unicorn, that's excellent." And just like that, Stella officially made her debut on the platform — and was downloaded 3,702,457 times.
Since then, stickers have evolved a lot, of course. And so have we. We’ve learned to express emotions better, to stylize boldly, to play with memes and animate like pros. Today, this set is definitely a piece of Telegram retro. Join us in a bit of nostalgia for the 2015 version of Telegram👏

Continuing the story about our most downloaded sticker packs.
👏 Dear Wolf was created in 2016 and quickly became insanely popular — with 3,808,942 installs. People loved the character so much, they even started asking: “Where can I buy merch with this wolf?”
We believe this love isn’t just about wolves being popular — it’s also thanks to the experiments with stylization. The character turned out incredibly lively and expressive.
Later on, Telegram even re-released Wolf 2.0 as an animated pack. You can still install the old version and enjoy a bit of nostalgia right here ⬇️👏
