Recent #mpox outbreaks have included changes to the disease's natural history, symptoms and demographics of infected persons, and the disease's expanding geographic distribution.

Evidence of an increased risk of #mpox infection in adults and an independent correlation with the risk of HIV infection can be seen in this @NCDCgov first-authored publication by @DesolaOgunleye.
