I’ll now be putting my SL above break-even, so this will be a 100% risk-free trade and will still lock in some profits if the market reverses and stops me out.

This trade just closed. The market reversed and hit my sl, which closed ~$400 in profit.
I was up ~$750, but my tp target was higher at $1.9–$2, so I didn’t want to exit early.
This is exactly why it’s important to move your sl into profit whenever the market moves in your favor. If price reverses, you protect gains and avoid getting caught off guard.
