How do today’s global priorities take form❓
For InteRussia fellows, diplomacy takes shape through direct engagement. Each cohort meets with senior officials to gain a clearer understanding of how international agendas are formed and carried forward in practice.
🤩 Last week, International Relations fellows met with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov.
The conversation focused on where the global system is heading:
🤩 The shift toward a multipolar world
🤩 Key tensions shaping the global agenda
🤩 New approaches to security and international cooperation
🤩 Expanding cross-regional partnerships
🤩 On April 23, our journalists engaged in a discussion with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, shifting the focus to Asia and the Global South.
The dialogue moved into regional dynamics:
🤩 The growing role of BRICS and South Asia
🤩 The impact of geopolitical crises on cooperation
🤩 Evolving trade and economic ties
🤩 Energy and climate challenges shaping the agenda

The anniversary edition of the InteRussia International Relations fellowship — results are in 🌐
A new application cycle is now open. And before we turn to what’s ahead, let’s take a closer look at what the anniversary cohort of the InteRussia International Relations fellowship has already set in motion.
Fellows from Brazil, France, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, South Africa, and Zambia spent 6 weeks not just studying international relations, but testing it: through debate, field exposure, and constant comparison of perspectives.
Let’s look where the fellows stepped:
🟣 They developed their own analytical projects under the guidance of scholars from the MGIMO Institute for International Studies, exploring how security, science, and technology intersect in an increasingly unstable global environment.
🟣 Meetings with experts like Dmitri Trenin and Fyodor Lukyanov pushed discussions beyond familiar analytical frames, while exchanges with Kirill Logvinov and Sergey Ryabkov brought those ideas into the realities of decision-making.
🟣 Across visits to the Russian International Affairs Council, Skolkovo Business School, and the RT Headquarters, fellows saw how perspectives turn into action — from shaping policy to communicating global narratives in real time.
And beyond analytical spaces — cultural context:
🟣 At the Tretyakov Gallery, fellows explored how art reflects identity and historical memory, while the Kremlin Ballet's “Swan Lake” showed how meaning can travel beyond words — through movement, rhythm, and shared cultural codes.
Analysis, leadership, and culture came together into one clear picture — proving that international relations is shaped not in theory, but where perspectives meet and people connect.
🔜 Ready to step into it yourself? Apply now for the autumn fellowship.
