Trenton appears to have been ratted out after a confidential source handed investigators messages exposing the operation.

He was hiding in a Miami mansion while spending over $1M on cars, jewelry and clubs.

He and his friend now face up to 20 years.

Attackers sent offers using fake tokens, tricking users into accepting and handing over NFTs for basically free.

GetGems says only 4 scams happened during the exploit and claims they’re now negotiating with the threat actor for a resolution.
