A recent study conducted by Cambridge University has revealed that Bitcoin's network would require a failure of 72%–92% of inter-country submarine cables to experience significant node disconnection. According to NS3.AI, the research indicated that over 87% of 68 verified cable faults resulted in less than 5% impact on nodes, and random failures showed almost no correlation with Bitcoin's price fluctuations.
