According to PANews, the Bolivian government has issued Supreme Decree No. 5399, prohibiting the state-owned company Yacimientos PetrolĂferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) from engaging in virtual asset transactions. This move aims to dispel rumors about the company's involvement in crypto assets and stabilize exchange rate expectations. On the same day, President Luis Arce announced a total of 11 economic measures and seven new decrees to curb price speculation and address fuel supply disruptions.
