At the Hong Kong Crypto Finance Forum, Binance Co-Founder Yi He shared her views on how to choose the right direction in crypto. She noted that instead of asking which sector is hottest, we should ask: What problem are you solving? Will people pay for your solution?Yi He pointed out that a lot of Web3 startups have no clear business model, confusing value propositions, and short life cycles that end shortly after launch. Only those that truly address user needs and build sustainable business logic can create long-term value. She also emphasized that she doesn't agree with labeling things as βWeb2 vs Web3.β In her view, it doesnβt matter whether a product uses blockchain or not β if it genuinely serves users and gives back to the community, it deserves respect. When summarizing the key traits of successful projects, Yi He listed four factors: timing, capability, team alignment, and extreme willpower. βNVIDIA, Tesla β even Binance β all had near-death moments,β she said. βBut we survived because we kept going when others gave up.β#Crypto #Web3 #Startups #BusinessModel #Innovation #ValueProposition #Sustainability #Community #SuccessFactors #Entrepreneurship
π Geopolitical Tensions and Cryptocurrency Impact on Dollar's Global Position

According to PANews, Kenneth Rogoff, former chief economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and member of the Federal Reserve Board, has expressed concerns about the diminishing global status of the U.S. dollar due to geopolitical tensions and the rising influence of cryptocurrencies.
In an interview, Rogoff challenged the critics who dismiss cryptocurrencies as scams or worthless. He argued that the notion of cryptocurrency transactions lacking a 'fundamental value proposition' is incorrect. Traditionally, the U.S. dollar has been the preferred payment method in the global underground economy, but cryptocurrencies are now taking precedence. Cryptocurrencies offer a recognized medium of exchange, which constitutes a value proposition.
Even with stringent government regulations on cryptocurrencies, significant challenges remain in controlling the underground economy. Rogoff emphasized that cryptocurrencies hold value, as authorities face substantial difficulties in tracking cryptocurrency transactions within the gray market. This indicates that cryptocurrencies are far from worthless.#GeopoliticalTensions #Cryptocurrency #Dollar #GlobalEconomy #IMF #KennethRogoff #ValueProposition #UndergroundEconomy #FinancialRegulations
π Digital Asset Treasury Companies Face Market Shift, Says Ledn CEO

According to BlockBeats, Ledn co-founder and CEO Adam Reeds has observed a significant shift in the market dynamics affecting digital asset treasury companies. Reeds noted that while these companies were once seen as revolutionary in the industry, their ability to achieve triple returns is diminishing. Over the past five years, MicroStrategy's value increased 24 times, compared to Bitcoin's tenfold rise, making such exceptional gains increasingly rare.
Reeds highlighted that recent trends over the past week indicate a cooling off in the crypto treasury craze, primarily modeled after Strategy. The total market capitalization of DAT companies has fallen below $150 billion, with the cumulative market value of Bitcoin treasuries dropping from $165 billion a month ago to $134 billion, despite Bitcoin's relatively stable price. Additionally, Strategy's stock price has decreased from a high of $455 in July to $359 this past Friday, and Japan-listed Metaplanet's stock has seen a monthly decline of over 30%.
Reeds emphasized that the real decline is in the ability to create a unique value proposition. Many DAT company CEOs claim their sole objective is to increase the per-share holding of cryptocurrencies, but it remains uncertain whether they possess unique management teams or exceptional capital operation capabilities.#DigitalAsset #Treasury #MarketShift #Ledn #Crypto #Bitcoin #MicroStrategy #Investments #ValueProposition #MarketCapitalization #BTC
