According to PANews, ETHGas has officially launched the Open Gas Initiative, offering a zero-code gas subsidy solution to help various protocols cover part of the gas costs for users, aiming to create a smoother, low-friction on-chain interaction experience. The initiative is now live on the Ethereum mainnet and will later expand to other EVM public chains and layer-2 networks, including BNB, Base, and Arbitrum.
The initial lineup for the Open Gas Initiative includes protocols such as EigenLayer, ether.fi, Pendle, and Velvet Capital, which will be the first to integrate the initiative. These protocols will demonstrate the potential to enhance user engagement and retention through gas subsidies combined with community goodwill. Infrastructure partners like GasHawk, Blocknative, Goldsky, and ClickHouse will also participate in future integrations, collaborating on transaction optimization, real-time data, and analytics.
