My Profile. The 'My Profile' section in Settings lets you view your profile as it appears to other users.

There you can quickly change any info like your bio and profile colors – or add your birthday and highlight a channel you own.

It also allows you to pin 3 stories to the top and quickly manage the privacy settings of stories on your profile or in your archive.

Birthdays. You can add your date of birth to your profile – reminding contacts when to celebrate.

When other users have their birthdays, a special banner appears in your chat list so you can quickly congratulate them and gift a Premium subscription.

By default your birthday is only visible to your contacts – and you can adjust its visibility in your privacy settings.

Mass Moderation. Groups admins can select several messages to perform multiple moderation actions at the same time – with individual toggles for each user and action.

The menu also has options to restrict users and limit their permissions if needed.

In addition, admins of groups with 200+ members can enable aggressive spam filtering to help automate moderation.

Share Location Indefinitely. When sharing your live location with a user or group, you can tap to add more time.

By choosing 'Until I turn it off', your location will be shared indefinitely – letting contacts check your location for extended periods.

Reaction Management. In addition to choosing which reaction emoji are available, channel admins can select a maximum number of reaction types per post – to keep their feed more tidy.

Message Effects. In 1-on-1 chats, you can add animated effects to messages that play when the recipient opens the chat.

All users have access to free effects like ❤️👍🔥🎉 and Telegram Premium unlocks hundreds more – including all the effects from Premium Stickers.

To add an effect, press and hold the Send arrow – messages with effects can also be scheduled or sent without sound.

Quick Actions for Phone Numbers. Tapping a phone number in a message like +971542022222 opens a menu where you can send a message, start a call or add a contact in one tap.

Hashtag Search. Hashtags can be used to quickly filter your chats for messages containing that tag.

Tapping a hashtag also allows you to see results from public channels – helping you discover new creators and browse popular topics.

Telegram Stars. You can make purchases and support content creators with Telegram Stars – a seamless way to pay for products in mini apps or unlock posts in your favorite channels.

Bot developers and content creators can use the Stars they earn to receive rewards or place subsidized ads.

Pay for Content with Stars. Channel subscribers can use Telegram Stars to unlock exclusive photos and videos – directly supporting their favorite content creators.

Unlocking a post gives you lifetime access to its content – even if the post is deleted or you unsubscribe from the channel.

Mini App Bar. You can collapse mini apps to check chats or open other mini apps – and seamlessly return without losing your progress.

To minimize an app, swipe down on its header, then tap the app bar to reopen any of your active apps.

Search Stories by Hashtag. Tapping hashtags in story captions lets you browse public stories with matching tags.

If you're a creator or business, you can use hashtags to grow your audience organically and reach new customers.

Search Stories by Location. Users on vacation or at an event can add a location tag to their story to show where they were.

Tapping a location tag opens other public stories from the same place – to see more concert selfies or restaurant recommendations.

Only stories that a user is allowed to view appear in search results. Private stories are never included in public searches.

Telegram Browser. Pages you open with the in-app browser can be collapsed and reopened – including websites, instant view articles and mini apps.

The browser also supports decentralized websites hosted on TON, making them accessible from all Telegram mobile and desktop apps.

You can bookmark any site for later browsing – instantly adding it to your Saved Messages.

Mini App Store. The 'Apps' tab in Search shows a list of apps you use and popular mini apps – to discover new games, services and more.

Featured mini apps display their number of monthly active users and developers can add video demos and screenshots to their app's profile.

Sharing Mini Apps to Stories. Mini apps can generate custom content for users to share as a story directly from the mini app.
