😕 Why can sticker packs accidentally get deleted and how to avoid it?

Friends, lately we've been receiving many complaints about accidentally deleted sticker packs due to a non-obvious button in Telegram. We'd like to tell you more about this issue.

😩 What has changed in Telegram?

With a recent Telegram update, it became possible to delete your own sticker pack for all users through the sticker pack interface. Now, sticker pack creators have 2 deletion options:

1. Delete the sticker pack only for themselves
2. Delete the sticker pack completely for all users

⚠️ What's the danger?

This is especially non-obvious when the sticker pack isn't added to your collection. In this case, you only see one "Delete" button, which removes the sticker pack for all users without the possibility of recovery.

❕ Why is this important?

A sticker pack deleted in this way cannot be restored. Neither we nor the Telegram team will be able to bring it back.

• If you're a sticker pack creator:
- Carefully read the button descriptions before clicking
