Recently, some attackers took advantage of the authorization panic caused by the Multichain incident to forge authorizations, luring users to consume a large amount of gas by revoking the authorizations that appeared in the wallet, resulting in financial losses.

The specific attack method is as follows 👇
The attacker forged the authorization to the address on the chain by modifying the approve() method, so that the security tool prompts the user for the [Cancel Authorization] icon. The user sees the [Cancel Authorization] icon (as shown in the figure) tampered with by the attacker, and clicking [Cancel Authorization] will cost a large amount of gas consumption.
